Thanks Big Time Revisited

Hi again. This is one of those ah ha! moments that I wanted to share with you. I took my pictures for the blog post below this one before I had decorated the inside of my card. As I was doing that, I had a small leftover piece of designer paper. I decided to punch out a decoration on the designer paper because I thought it would be a cute embellishment somewhere…just where? I put it on my Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and look how much it dresses it up! This goes to show you that you can dress up an embellishment with an embellishment! This one little 3/8" circle makes such a big impact on this card.

Thanks Big Time

Hi and I hope you're all having a blessed day. I am such a summer person so I don't know why I'm making all of these fall cards lately. Maybe because of the fun new stamps and everything in the Holiday Mini Catalog? Probably. I'm also using more of the new colors too. I had to take back something at Lowe's this morning and saw a display while waiting in line of some great colors that I equated to Stampin' Up! Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight, so my next card for you will be based off of those colors.

Today I wanted to share with you this fall card that I made based off of a sketch (loosely as I left off a panel) at Christian Paper Crafts. There could be so many variations to this card with the Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper, French Foliage stamp set, and colors. Let me know what you think and I hope this inspires you to get your stamp on today!

For some other fun news, a new challenge blog called Stampin' Up! Only Challenges will be starting on Tuesday, September 7. Be sure to join in on the fun and I hope to see you there! God bless and have a great day.

September KOM Sneak Peek

Just like I promised, here's an awesome sneak peek of one of the projects that you'll be doing for next month's kit. You will be making FIVE of these! You're going to love this kit!

PS: You should be getting your Holiday Mini Catalog in the mail today if you are a customer of mine.

Isn't this adorable? Remember, you're going to need products from the new Holiday Mini Catalog, which you'll be receiving in your mailbox any day now. But don't fear, if you have last year's product, you can still do this! Product from the new Idea Book & Catalog will also be incorporated too. I make sure that all of my kits are for all stampers and paper crafters to use what you have on hand, although there are a few regular essentials that you must have, such as Snail Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, etc. I supply the consumable items such as brads, ribbon, library clips, buttons, punched items, as well as all paper (including designer paper) and envelopes. Don't have a Big Shot? I will cut those for you, but of course, you will want your own!

September Kit of the Month

Hi everybody! I'm already starting to work on the September Kit of the Month and what I've done so far is so much fun with all of the products in the new Holiday Mini that will be available to you in a few short weeks! I'm really going to town in the gift department and other decorations. Better yet, I'll have it ready for you on September 1. For September, I'll be focusing on Halloween. Personally, I have never participated in Halloween, but a lot of my customers do and have an interest in these projects. For those of you who don't partake in Halloween, let me know and I will change the kit to meet your needs as well. For October, I'll be focusing on autumn and Thanksgiving. For November, I'll be concentrating on Christmas. The November and December Kit of the Month is going to be combined as I'm going all out on this one with a lot of different projects and cards. The combined kit will be $50 and it will be worth every single cent and you're going to love it! I might even sneak peek you a little one tomorrow Until then, God bless.

Sweet and Sour Daisies

Hi everybody. I made this card for a friend who's having breast cancer surgery next week. It's very rare and it spiders, and things just don't look good for her. I also believe in the healing power of God, so she's in my prayers and I hope yours too. It's not a get well card or anything like that. It's one of encouragement. I think it turned out very cheerful and cute. What do you think? Thank you so much for stopping by this evening and God bless. Also, I do have another prayer request for you and that is to pray for the Peck family. Their trailer caught on fire this afternoon and it's a complete loss. One of her boys is going to be living with us for a while until they can find a new home. I ask that you pray for their peace and comfort during this very trying time. God bless.

Stamps: Upsy Daisy

Tea and Lace

Here's a card that I made today that has masculine colors using the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper, but two feminine stamp sets of Morning Cup and Favorite Thoughts. With the lace trim and scallop trim, as well as the Baja Breeze, I was able to lighten this up quite a bit. Since the designer paper is a little on the masculine side, it represents strength and I also think that women represent strength as well. I used the new Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die from the Holiday Mini Catalog and you're going to love this. It's one that will be used over and over again, and will most likely be part of the Stampin' Up! lineup in the near future. I hope that you enjoy this card and thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. God bless!

Stamps: Morning Cup, Favorite Thoughts
Card Stock: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Naturals Ivory
Designer Series Paper: Elegant Soiree
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Neutral brads, Metallic brads, Ticket punch, Chantilly Lace, Big Shot, Tasteful Trim Big XL Die, Blender Pen
Technique: Die–cutting
Size: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2

Friends & Flowers

Good morning. This is a card that I made using the new Friends Never Fade stamp set. There's a ton of possibilities and ways to use this set along with the matching Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. I used markers to color on my image. I need to make a few more cards using this set to send to my girlfriends in New York. I think I'll take the day off and play around in the studio a little bit. It's also quite the mess, so I need to clean up as well. After this, I'm going to start working on products from the new Holiday Mini Catalog so you can have some sneak peeks. Once you see what I can turn out that will hopefully really showcase the products, you're going to get excited. I know I was when I received my box of goodies the other day! Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless. I appreciate your support.

Autumn Gratitude

As a demonstrator, I'm able to order new products a month in advance, which is very cool, so I sort of had a field day with our new Holiday Mini Catalog. I love it. There's some awesome products in there that rock, with several of them being products you've never seen anywhere else before by anybody else. I unpacked the boxes, unwrap everything, and organize it –  then I start to have some fun and make a card with my new big girl toys just to make a card that's not for a submission, design team work, or an assignment. I had FUN making this and even more fun when it's new stuff! This time of year is always super exciting for me because the new catalog comes out every July, so I get new toys in June, and then the Holiday Mini comes out in September and I get more new toys in August, so it's like Christmas for me. I used a lot of different things on this card and everything that I used is brand new. Here's my card! Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me and I hope that this inspires you in some way when you get your new big girl toys. God bless!

PS: The August Kit of the Month is done. I just need to take pictures and put them up. Be sure to check it out! Next month's kit and kits until the end of the year will all be using products from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Don't forget about my workshop on August 14 to come over and play with all of these new products.
